We are currently looking for a dedicated and skilled Electrical Technician to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Electrical Technician to support the installation, maintenance, and servicing of low-voltage devices, including fire alarms, surveillance cameras, and access control systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems, attention to detail, and a passion for providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and service fire alarm systems, surveillance cameras, and access control systems at customer locations.
• Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic tasks on low-voltage electrical systems.
• Ensure proper wiring, connection, and configuration of all equipment in compliance with safety standards and local codes.
• Conduct system tests, inspections, and system performance assessments to ensure optimal functionality.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating with clients and addressing any concerns or technical issues.
• Maintain detailed service records, including installation reports, maintenance logs, and service history.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, technology advancements, and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards, including NFPA, UL, and local electrical codes.
• Assist in system design and troubleshooting as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; electrical certification or associate degree in electrical technology preferred.
• Proven experience in installing and servicing low-voltage systems, specifically fire alarms, cameras, and access control systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and low-voltage circuits.
• Familiarity with industry codes, standards, and safety regulations (e.g., NFPA, UL, NEC).
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with advanced fire alarm systems (e.g., addressable panels, mass notification systems).
• Familiarity with IP-based surveillance cameras and access control systems.
• Previous experience in commercial and/or industrial settings.

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
