What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Rep and Estimator position at Premier Flooring?
Premier Flooring is a market leader in the Louisville builder market, who recently acquired Sam Kinnaird's Flooring, a market leader in retail flooring. This combination has produced significant growth recently and we are still expanding! As a result, we are looking for an energetic Account Representative and Estimator to join our team!

This person will work with our sales team to review project plans and estimates for new construction projects. They will our customers point of contact for project support once construction begins.
Required Skills:
- Organized, thorough, detailed and a logical problem solver.
- Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects, to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Prepare and review estimates with material and labor quantities from architectural drawings and design selections.
- Review estimate to ensure accuracy and completeness prior to submission to sales.
- Utilize on-screen takeoff software to assist with estimation.
- Create detailed packets for installers to effectively complete the job.
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Must be flexible to quickly adapt and respond to changes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to understand floor plan layouts.
- Flooring knowledge is strongly preferred.
- Prior RFMS experience is a plus.
- Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Build, maintain and personalize relationships with our customers.
- Calculating the flooring budget for the project, building quotes and creating any necessary overage/change orders.
- Completing the design Take off's with physical drawing or computer program.
- General day-to-day account management.
- Daily communication with our Premier Flooring Field Representatives to stay abreast of any potential installation issues and work with customer to resolve issues.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
