Premier Flooring is a market leader in the Louisville builder market, who recently acquired Same Kinnaird's Flooring, a market leader in retail flooring. This combination has produced significant growth recently and we are still expanding! As a result, we are looking for an energetic and experienced Purchasing Coordinator to join our team!

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the procurement processes, vendor relationships, and inventory control. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments to ensure that purchasing activities align with our customer installation schedules and the company's inventory goals.
Required Skills:

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with vendors and internal teams.
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly.

- Flooring knowledge is a plus.
- Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Issue purchase orders and confirm order details with suppliers, including delivery location and date, pricing, quantities and product.
- Monitors and resolves order issues and processing errors.
- Manage and resolve discrepancies related to delivery, pricing, quantity or product.
- Track and expedite orders to ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor backorder releases and promptly communicate to internal customers.
- Returns: Administrate individual return of goods with supplier.
- Preparing reports related to delivery/service problems, reasons for product returns, etc.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding procurement activities.
- All other duties as assigned.
