What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Lathe Machinist position at Premier Gear & Machining, Inc.?
Full-time position to set-up and operate CNC lathes for aerospace machined parts:
- Must be able to perform all machine operator functions including routine “offsets”.
- Use machinist tools to set up and tear down jobs.
- Use inspection tools; mics, calipers, gages, optical comparators, rotary and angle equipment, surface plates and check for accuracy.
- Interpret advanced drawing terminology; specs, tolerances, GD&T, etc.
- Follow company quality procedures for controlled planning and/ or other work order instructions,
- Knowledge of Okuma, Mori Seiki, and Nakamura-Tome 6-axis machines is helpful.
Work Schedule is Monday through Friday 6:00am to 4:30pm.
Meal Period: 10:45am to 11:30 am
Break # 1: 8:15am to 8:30am
Break # 2: 2:15pm to 2:30pm
