Maintenance Technician

Shift: 3rd Shift (11:00 PM 7:00 AM) (Night Shift Only)

Are you a skilled Maintenance Technician looking to make an impact in a dynamic manufacturing environment? Join our team as a Level II Maintenance Technician, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and sustainability of our production machinery. This role involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimizing equipment to keep our operations running smoothly. Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Perform preventive maintenance on motors, conveyor systems, and other machinery.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions using systematic methodologies.
• Replace and align mechanical drive systems and other failed components.
• Maintain lubrication requirements for machinery and adjust equipment to operational standards.
• Test electrical systems using devices like ohmmeters and voltmeters.
• Install, repair, or replace electrical components, including wiring, switch boxes, and lighting fixtures.

Process Improvement & Documentation

• Recommend procedural or process changes based on equipment performance.
• Accurately maintain maintenance records to establish historical data for future needs.
• Contribute to team problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.

Training & Mentorship

• Mentored and trained junior technicians and operators in equipment maintenance and best practices.
• Support team growth by sharing expertise and fostering collaboration.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 2-year technical degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of industrial manufacturing maintenance experience or equivalent skills.

Technical Skills

• Strong mechanical and electrical background.
• Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and OEM manuals.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and precision measuring devices.
• Comfortable using shop equipment like drill presses, band saws, and power tools.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CMMS systems.

Other Requirements

• Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively and efficiently.
• Certification testing completion (if applicable).

Quality

• Stay current with evolving maintenance procedures and technologies.
• Complete an annual Maintenance Skills Assessment and participate in relevant training.

Safety

• Adhere to all safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
• Promptly report any accidents, incidents, or unsafe conditions to the supervisor.

• Ability to meet the physical requirements of working in an industrial environment.
• Follow environmental protocols to minimize impact while handling materials.
