Job Summary
Do you have experience in the sign or printing industry? Are you looking to enter an extremely unique and challenging position where everyday is different? Our high-volume graphics and advertising company is seeking a full-time Production Manager to operate and maintain our facilities equipment in in order to produce high-quality signage.
Qualifications
Experience in the sign or printing industry
Knowledge of the transportation industry a huge plus
Strong Computer skills with the ability to operate printing / cutting software
Strong communication skills; attention to details; problem solving skills
Responsibilities
Manage a team of Production Specialists to complete different projects simultaneously
Help unload materials; clean and maintain storage areas
Operate and maintain equipment including Plotters, Printers, Laminators, Roll Slitter, Shop Tools, etc
Perform quality assurance by accurately reading and interpreting Work Orders / Proofs
Prepare substrates for different projects - including cleaning, cutting, vinyl application, laminating, etc
Perform finishing operations such as laminating, trimming, mounting, and / or shipping arrangements
Help unload materials; clean and maintain storage areas
Maintain or exceed established production rates
Coordinate with staff designers & installers to ensure due dates are met
Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics code
