What are the responsibilities and job description for the Personal Property Financial Management Analyst position at Premier Group?
Job Purpose:
The Personal Property Financial Management Analyst shall perform a wide range of duties to support personal property financial management transactions at the National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration.
Job Duties:
- Support financial reporting and pre-audit activities including:
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Prepare and respond to compliance requirements for personal property assets.
- Ensure capitalized assets file records are complete and accurate in the personal property management system.
- Communicate internal control processes to stakeholders and document process gaps and areas of improvement is applicable
- Review and update financial policies, procedures, and guidance.
- Monitor project activities for Construction-Work-In-Progress (CWIP) and Non-CWIP projects and update personal property management database.
- Prepare personal property asset records for capitalization and disposal.
- Support the annual physical and capitalized inventory audit.
- Review Heritage assets files and ensure compliance with the agency's Heritage Asset Management policy and procedures.
- Utilize the personal property management system to gather and analyze personal property asset data.
Required Technical Skills and Qualifications:
This position requires a strong financial management, audit, and communication skills including the ability to produce business documents and correspondence with a high degree of accuracy. Basic skills should include but are not limited to strong written and verbal communication; and the ability to produce business correspondence, reports, meeting materials, etc. This position requires knowledge and experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Related Field.
- Five Years of Professional Working Experience
- Three Years of Related Industry Experience
Salary Range:
Salary commensurate to experience and qualifications.
