Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The Advanced Practice Provider will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients in facial plastic surgery, general otolaryngology and head and neck cancer surgery. This position requires a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a medical team. Must have desire to learn new skills and be adaptable.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Perform triage duties to prioritize patient needs effectively.
- Manage patient care in various settings, including outpatient clinics and potentially inpatient and operating room.
- Utilize ICD-10 coding for accurate documentation and billing processes.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide education and counseling to patients regarding health management, disease prevention, and treatment options.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical protocols.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
Requirements
- Current licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in the state of Michigan.
- Master’s degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant License
- Experience in relevant specialties such as plastic surgery, ENT and head and neck cancer is preferred.
- Proficiency in triage systems and familiarity with operating room (OR) procedures is advantageous.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
