Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Medical Office Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our medical facility. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and team building skills, excellent knowledge of medical terminology, and the ability to supervise staff effectively. This role is crucial for ensuring that our clinic runs smoothly and efficiently while providing high-quality patient care.
Duties
- Manage the daily operations of the medical office, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Supervise administrative and clinical staff, providing guidance and support to enhance productivity and performance.
- Oversee patient scheduling, billing, and financial management processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain medical records in accordance with legal requirements and organizational policies, utilizing systems such as Allscript and Epic.
- Coordinates with healthcare providers and management to ensure seamless communication and collaboration within the office.
- Maintain office policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
- Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner to enhance patient satisfaction.
- Work closely with new hires to provide excellent training and obtain positive outcomes.
Requirements
- Prefer Bachelor's degree, Associates degree minimum or equivalent experience.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare practices.
- Familiarity with financial management principles related to healthcare operations.
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems, particularly Epic, is preferred.
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead a team effectively-minimum 2 years.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
