Rehab Aide (Student)
- PRN: Schedule varies - typically between 8am- 6pm
The Rehab Aide – Student Level is an entry level position focused on providing exposure to high school and early college students interested in Rehab Professions. The Aide will assume a supportive role on the Rehab care team. The Aide performs clinical duties to support providers and patients during treatment sessions. The Aide will work within the guidelines of the Ohio PT/OT Practice Acts and considered an unlicensed support role. The Aide will help to maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment.
The position requires self-initiation of projects to meet departmental needs and requires cross training to support clerical services on an as needed basis. The Aide is responsible for demonstrating excellent customer service and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the department. The benefit of this role for the associate is experience of clinical work, knowledge of clinical operations and aggregation of “observation” hours required for application and admission to all professional educational programs.
Minimum Level of Education Required: Attendance in Vocational or High School
Minimum Level of Experience Required: No prior job-related work experience
Other experience requirements: Preferred expressed interest in pursuing Rehab Professional training if still in HS or active enrolled in collegiate level entry level track.
