Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Admissions Director in managing the daily operations of the admissions team.
- Oversee initial patient assessments and work closely with staff to ensure appropriate care coordination.
- Support the development of business relationships, including partnerships with Veterans Affairs (VA).
- Provide crisis intervention and patient support as needed.
- Ensure accurate and compliant maintenance of patient records in line with facility policies.
- Collaborate with staff members to ensure patients receive coordinated and comprehensive care.
Qualifications:
- Experience in an admissions role, preferably in a mental health or healthcare setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, nursing, or a related field preferred.
- Understanding of mental health disorders and treatment options.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage tasks under pressure.
- Ability to provide support in crisis situations and maintain composure.
