The Licensed Practical Nurse collaborates as a member of the nursing team to accomplish patient care activities and contributes to the implementation of patient care. The LPN is accountable for compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, applicable regulatory standards, and institutional policies and procedures. The LPN provides physical, emotional and spiritual support that directly / indirectly impacts patient outcomes and care provided to patients / families / significant others. The Licensed Practical Nurse float rotates to designated units to subsidize staffing shortages as neededEducationMinimum Level of Education Required : Diploma ProgramAdditional requirements :
- Area of study or major : Practical nursingLicensure / Certification / Registration
- Valid Ohio Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- Certified to administer medications
