A key role that combines the responsibilities of a Patient Care Technician and Health Unit Coordinator, performing tasks based on operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform technical and clinical procedures under RN supervision
- Identify abnormal findings and report to Registered Nurse
HUC Responsibilities:
- Coordinate communication and data entry
- Stock and order supplies
- Provide clerical assistance to physicians and staff
- Guide patients, families, and visitors for a positive experience
Skills Required:
- Multiskilled individual with strong communication skills
- Ability to perform delegated tasks under RN supervision
Work Environment:
Part-time days, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 48 hours per pay period at Miami Valley Hospital South.
