Physical Therapist - Sports Medicine
- Tipp City, OH - Outpatient
- Part-Time: 20 hours per week
Join our Rehabilitation Services team as a Physical Therapist specializing in Sports Medicine.
Under the guidance of the department Supervisor, you will play a key role in evaluating and treating patients, managing their rehabilitation process, and supporting the smooth operation of the department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial evaluations, reassessments, and discharge summaries for a diverse patient population.
- Provide patient treatment based on evaluations and reassessments.
- Complete documentation in a timely manner and maintain productivity standards.
- Delegate tasks appropriately and contribute to patient case management.
- Perform non-clinical tasks to ensure effective daily operations.
- Engage in departmental, hospital, and community programs or meetings.
- Teach, orient, train, supervise, and mentor co-workers, new employees, volunteers, observers, and at least one student annually.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's., Master's, or DPT degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Current Physical Therapist license in Ohio.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to problem solve, plan, and prioritize.
- Flexibility and independent judgment in decision-making.
- Commitment to confidentiality and ethical conduct according to APTA's Code of Ethics.
- Demonstrates a positive attitude, initiative, dependability, and effective verbal and written communication.
- BLS certification required at time of hire.
