LPN Responsibilities:
- Monitor patient vitals and record them on file.
- Sterilize and prepare medical tools and equipment.
- Consult with supervisors and doctors to decide on best treatment plan for residents.
- Observe and record patient behavior.
- Collect patient health history.
- Counsel and educate patients and their families on treatment plans.
- Provide care for ill, injured, convalescing patients.
- Collaborate with Registered Nurses to administer prescribed medications.
- Must be a graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the PA State Board of Nurse Examiners.
- Must currently be licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse by the PA State Board of Nurse Examiners.
- Must be knowledgeable of nursing, medical practices and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Time management skills.
- Aptitude for problem solving.
