Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CARDIAC and/or Vascular Sonographer to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, with a focus on cardiology. As a Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations to assist in the evaluation of patients' health conditions. This role is critical in providing accurate imaging that supports patient diagnosis and treatment plans.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations on patients, ensuring adherence to established protocols and standards.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to discuss findings and assist in developing patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of ultrasound procedures performed.
- Utilize knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology to ensure precise imaging and reporting.
- Stay updated with advancements in sonography technology and techniques through continuous education and training.
Qualifications
- Certification in Sonography from an accredited program.
- Proficient understanding of medical terminology related to sonography and cardiology.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and vital signs monitoring.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
