We currently have an opportunity for a Reject Specialist in Chicago - South Side!
The Reject Specialist corrects and resubmits daily rejects are addressed to ensure the CCU, and providers can bill timely.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Two years’ experience in IDOA Care Coordination Unit (CCU) reject process.
- Must be knowledgeable in CMIS, eCCPIS and PSS.
- Good interpersonal skills required.
- Ability to use computerized systems.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Knowledgeable in Excel
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Run daily census to ensure census matches eCCPIS and Arrow.
- Run the CCU and provider reject list in eCCPIS every Friday by 10am.
- Resolve problems with rejects on contract lists to ensure payment.
- Collaborate with vendors (providers) to correct errors on provider error lists to ensure payment.
- Review and resolve issues on participants on interim status for more than allotted time.
- Perform data clean up on projects requested by the Illinois Department on Aging.
- Review and resolve termination issues on participants on program without service for more than 60 days.
- Transfer participant to new vendor upon termination by IDoA of vendor presently servicing vendor.
- Process MCO transitions.
- Provide documentation using IDoA case note form of activities in working with participants, staff, vendors and funding agencies.
- Assist with general office duties, i.e., answering the phones, copying, and filing.
