The IT Administrator will manage and support the organization's IT infrastructure, including networking, user support, hardware, and telecommunications. Responsibilities include maintaining group policies, managing Microsoft domains and tenants, provisioning resources, and ensuring optimal system performance. The role requires troubleshooting technical issues, implementing security measures, and overseeing system administration tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT systems and possess excellent problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks (Essential Functions) :
- Configure, manage, and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
- Administer user accounts, permissions, and group policies within Microsoft Active Directory and other domain services.
- Manage Microsoft 365 tenants and services, including email, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware components such as servers, workstations, and printers.
- Oversee telecom systems, including VOIP and mobile device management.
- Implement and monitor security measures to safeguard data and IT resources.
- Perform regular system updates, backups, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Document IT processes, procedures, and inventory for compliance and efficiency.
- Other duties as assigned
