Premier Interior Development, Inc. is a dynamic and growing construction company dedicated to delivering high-quality projects. We are currently seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Construction Safety Manager to join our team and ensure the safety of our construction sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee safety protocols on single or multiple construction sites.
- Daily onsite inspections and on the job training participation and leadership.
- Manage and maintain the company’s Safety and Health Program.
- Develop and implement site-specific safety plans for each project.
- Assist project teams with safety during project startup.
- Regularly update and maintain the Accident Prevention Plan.
- Create and conduct safety orientations for project teams.
- Provide ongoing safety training and conduct project-specific safety audits.
- Maintain accurate safety logs and documentation for each project.
- Review subcontractor safety plans and ensure compliance.
- Conduct regular project safety inspections.
- Lead investigations related to incidents or near misses.
- Collaborate with project teams to manage and monitor safety budgets.
- Anticipate and ensure necessary safety supplies are available for job sites.
- Attend and participate in Owner meetings and safety discussions.
- Assist in the development and review of Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs) and Site-specific Safety Plans (SSSP)
- Attend competent person training courses.
- Represent the company at Owner Safety Meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Safety Trained Supervisor – Construction (STSC).
- Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST).
- OSHA 30-Hour Certification and CPR/First Aid Certification.
- Minimum of 5 years of continuous construction safety experience.
- Ability to travel to project sites, primarily in the state of Texas.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Project).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Clean Driving record
- Ability to pass a background check from department of transportation and transit authority.
- Time management Skills (Ability to work to work different shifts as needed (Nights and Days))
- Experience in heavy and civil construction projects
Preferred Qualifications
- A 4-year degree in Occupational Safety and Health.
- OSHA 500 Certification.
- First Aid/CPR Instructor Certification.
- Experience with Bluebeam and Procore.
- Previous experience in aviation or airport construction projects.
- Previous experience in Injury management
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $75,000 - $100,000 per year (commensurate with experience and qualifications).
