What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Practitioner, Premier Interventional Radiology Clinic, PRN, As Needed position at Premier Interventional Radiology Clinic?
Premier Interventional Radiology Clinic is a specialty clinic that was established to assist the interventional radiologists in caring for patients before and after interventional radiology procedures. Because our clinic is growing, we are currently seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner to work two days a week.
Job Description:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients in the clinic setting according to the protocols established by the physician preceptor and the clinic's full-time nurse practitioner as well as the scope of practice set by the Board of Nursing.
- Accurately documents patient treatments, procedures, medications, and status in a timely manner.
- Provides information to patients regarding their diagnoses as well as treatment options that may be available to them. Serves as a resource for patients that may have questions before or after interventional radiology procedures.
- Requires master's degree in nursing along with valid license as a nurse practitioner.
- Must have at least two years of experience a nurse practitioner if master's degree was earned strictly online and not through a combination of online and campus learning.
- Must have worked as an RN at least 2 years in an appropriate clinical setting.
- Maintain current CPR certification.
Pay: $46.00 - $55.00 per hour
