Mover/Packer

Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and reliable Movers to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the transportation of goods and belongings for our clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and the ability to operate various types of moving equipment, ensuring a smooth and efficient moving process.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload items from trucks, ensuring all belongings are handled with care.
• Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts to facilitate the moving process.
• Drive vehicles, including vans and trucks, to transport items to designated locations.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients during the moving process.
• Assist in route planning and navigation to ensure timely deliveries.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of moving equipment and vehicles.
• Follow safety protocols while handling heavy items and operating machinery.

Requirements

• Proven experience in moving or related fields is preferred.
• Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle is a plus.
• Familiarity with route driving and commercial driving regulations.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Experience using moving equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts is advantageous.
• Physical stamina to lift heavy items and perform manual labor for extended periods.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $21.18 - $22.10 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
