What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at Premier Island Management Group?
Hours/Days: 9 am - 4 pm, 12 pm - 8 pm, 4 pm - 10 pm Monday - Sunday
Requested Start Date: 03/01/2025
Must know about preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Experience in Micros is a plus. Be able to handle a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Must be 18 years of age.
Summary of the main function/purpose of the position:
A bartender is responsible for preparing beverages for guests and homeowners. They should be highly knowledgeable of a variety of beverages, and provide excellent customer service when interacting with guests’.
Key Principal duties/responsibilities:
- Complete the opening/closing checklist
- Follow the company’s non-negotiable by greeting and welcoming guest
- Have knowledge of all food/drink items
- Prepare beverages using a wide variety of mixes such as Liquor, bitters, soda, water, sugar, and fruits
- Paying extreme attention to detail while taking orders from guests
- Providing beverages in a timely manner
- Provide a positive experience while interacting with guest
- Making sure the bar is properly stocked with all necessary items
- Clear and Clean assigned area as Guest leaves to be ready to serve the next Guest
- Process credit card and room charges through a point-of-sale system
- Verifying guests are age-appropriate
- Ensure prepared orders are accurate and delivered in a timely manner
- Be familiar with Micros computer system
- Keeping all surrounding areas clean and sanitized
- Set up/Maintain and Break assigned areas as needed
- Provide menus for Food
- Limit possible problems by restricting alcohol intake when appropriate

V. Educational and/or equivalence in experience requirements:
Previous bartending experience in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
Specialized or technical educational requirements:
Knowledge of POS systems is preferred.
Certification or licensing requirements:
Already have or ability to undergo SafeServ Certification.
