Position Overview:
The PLL is seeking to hire a Manager of Corporate Development to play a leading role in identifying, analyzing and evaluating business to acquire and integrate into the league platform. This candidate will work directly with the PLL’s Chief Strategy Officer, CEO, President and other members of the Strategy team to execute these initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and lead on execution of M&A opportunities that can be accretive to the PLL platform
- Research and source businesses across a variety of industries within the lacrosse and general sports ecosystem
- Analyze prospective business by building financial projections and valuation models
- Support strategy organization across key team initiatives
- Research and evaluate new concepts that can serve as growth verticals for the PLL platform
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in an IB, Consulting, or other relevant role
- Strong ability to think critically and problem-solve in the tone of the company
- Strong interpersonal relationship skills, high EQ
- Excellent verbal and written communicator
- Self-starter with ability to follow through without supervision and manage multiple projects
- Project Management skills
- Strong attention to detail and demonstrated initiative
- Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites (namely Excel & Powerpoint)
- High level of professionalism and a strong ability to relate to people of all business levels
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
COMPENSATION
- Salary Range: $100k-$120k
- Based on the candidate’s experience and seniority
- The total compensation package includes Commission and Bonus, Health, Life, Dental, and Vision Insurance, 401(k) plan, Equity Sharing, Unlimited PTO, and Paid Parental Leave
