ROLE SPECIFICS
The Premier Lacrosse League is seeking a Manager, Partnership Marketing to lead the management, activation, and development of impactful marketing/media platforms for select PLL and WLL (Women’s Lacrosse League) partners. Reporting to a Director of Partnership Marketing, the candidate will be required to work externally and cross functionally on a daily basis to execute impactful sports marketing initiatives. This person will have experience managing partnerships across multiple industry categories from on-boarding through activation and renewal.
Role to be located in the Torrance, CA HQ or New York, NY office.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ownership and management of national partnerships across PLL’s current and developing suite of sponsorship assets (including select WLL partnerships)
- Develop and present annual partnership recaps, quarterly reports, and key data analysis to partner executive leadership
- Identify and develop upsell and renewal packages around PLL partnership offerings in collaboration with larger sponsorship team
- Develop new ideas that deliver against partner marketing and league objectives and drive revenue growth
- Execute details of partnership activations across all platforms with collaboration and oversight from a Director of Partnership Marketing
- Lead assigned annual strategic projects (internal & external) such as: broadcast integration, game presentation, hospitality, on-site activations, etc.
- Think critically to create and develop innovative partnership platforms
- Run weekly update calls with both external partners (moderate complexity, including endemic brands) and cross-functional internal departments
- Travel regularly to PLL events and ensure proper execution of on-site activations
- Coordinate event hospitality during the PLL season, including ticketing, VIP suites/catering and client experiences
- Manage entering and maintaining accurate partnership data within a CRM tool
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3-5 years of experience working in client management
- Agency, sports property or brand experience
- Experience managing and renewing significant marketing partnerships
- Regular user of CRM, spreadsheet, word processing, and project management tools
- Deep understanding of the sports sponsorship landscape
- Strategic thinker that can manage both short term and long term projects simultaneously
- Comfortable interacting with external parties/partners on a day-to-day basis
- Strong organization skills to track partnership asset fulfillment
- Passion for the mission and values of the PLL
- Encourages creativity while developing new activation opportunities that unlock revenue growth

COMPENSATION
- $70,000 - $80,000 Base Salary
- Based on the candidate’s experience and seniority
- The total compensation package includes Commission and Bonus, Health, Life, Dental, and Vision Insurance, 401(k) plan, Equity Sharing, Unlimited PTO, and Paid Parental Leave
