What are the responsibilities and job description for the Producer/Editor position at Premier Lacrosse League PLL?
Position Overview
The PLL is seeking a versatile Producer/Editor to create, produce, and edit engaging studio based show content as well as short and long-form video content pieces for PLL and WLL’s owned platforms, sponsored initiatives, and broadcast channels.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Conceptualize editorial show rundowns for both studio based video and podcast programming.
- Collaborate with and manage on-air talent throughout pre-production and production of content programming.
- Build and create graphics that enhance show programming.
- Shoot game highlights, locker room moments, practice footage, sit-down interviews, and show-based content in-studio and on location.
- Edit content for all PLL and WLL social media platforms, including Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), TikTok, Threads, Facebook, and Youtube.
- Edit short form and long-form pieces for ESPN game broadcasts, including features, music montages, and teases.
- Log, tag, and deliver footage for PLL archives.
Requirements/Skills/Abilities
- Brachelor’s degree (minimum requirement)
- 3 years of experience in digital video and broadcast sports production.
- Proven ability to develop and execute engaging content for digital channels and ESPN game broadcasts.
- Edit proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Experience operating a variety of cameras for capturing highlights, interviews, features, and show programming.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to plan and manage complex projects.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
Compensation
- $70,000-$77,500
- Based on the candidate’s experience
- The total compensation package includes Commission and Bonus, Health, Life, Dental, and Vision Insurance, 401(k) plan, Equity Sharing, Unlimited PTO, and Paid Parental Leave
