Position Overview/Summary:
The Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) is looking for a Product Manager to help build the future of professional sports through innovative products for fans. The PLL seeks a motivated builder who prioritizes shipping value over everything. You will play a critical role in identifying and executing opportunities to innovate, differentiate, and scale products like the PLL app, Fantasy, and AI tools for fans.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Product Discovery - Perform customer interviews and analysis to validate problems, end users, and solutions to build.
- Shipping Products Fans Love - Analyze qualitative and quantitative user insights/trends to drive product features and outcomes.
- Product Research - Conduct user research by engaging directly with fans and engineers through interviews, surveys, and more to understand pain points and motivations.
- Feature Prioritization - Work cross-functionally across multiple teams to prioritize what features should be worked on.
- Product Messaging - Partner cross-functionally with Marketing to optimize product messaging. Test value positioning through marketing campaigns and channels to best optimize what’s most effective.
- Roadmap Management - Assist in managing the roadmap and communicating releases and value propositions to internal and external stakeholders.
- AI Enablement - Utilizing advancements in Artificial Intelligence to drive fandom and improve storytelling around the league.
Requirements:
- 3 years of product management experience with consumer-facing web and mobile products
- Strong strategic and analytical skills
- Obsessed with UX and using a data-driven approach to building products
- Experience working with large datasets
- Strong understanding of AI tools and processes
Additional Skills:
- Ability to navigate and execute amidst ambiguity
- Proficient in SQL and experience analyzing, interpreting, and leveraging data to make strategic, business decisions
- Proficient in code languages such as Typescript is a plus
Compensation:
- $80,000-$90,000
- Based on the candidate’s experience
- The total compensation package includes Health, Life, Dental, and Vision Insurance, 401(k) plan, Equity Sharing, Unlimited PTO, and Paid Parental Leave
