Position Overview:
PLL’s production team is seeking interns to support all production needs. Candidates should have the ability to shoot, produce, and edit both short form and long form video content. The intern will edit video content for PLL and WLL social media platforms, sponsored and marketing endeavors, and features integrated into game broadcasts. In addition to editing video content, the intern will be tasked with archiving video assets and pulling highlights for partners.
Qualifications:
- Edit content for all PLL and WLL social media platforms, including Instagram, X, TikTok, Threads, Facebook, and Youtube.
- Edit content for distribution across sponsored partner channels, including Champion, Whirlpool, Gatorade, etc.
- Edit in-game highlights during event game weekends
- Edit short and long form content for utilization within ESPN game broadcasts, features, music montages, and teases.
- Shoot game highlights, locker room content, practice footage, and sit-down interviews during event weekends and feature shoots on location.
- Log, tag and deliver footage for PLL archives as well as pull select footage on behalf of PLL departments, sponsors, and broadcast partners.
Requirements:
- Ability to create, develop, and execute compelling ideas that will drive engagement across PLL and WLL digital channels as well as ESPN game broadcasts.
- Edit proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Skilled in operating a variety of cameras to capture game highlights, interviews, and supplementary feature content.
- Fundamental knowledge of lighting techniques for press conferences and interview content.
- Strong collaboration, attention to detail, and time management skills.
- Experience in sports production; knowledge of lacrosse is a plus
Compensation:
- $16-$18/hr
