Position Overview:
We are seeking a creative and motivated Ticket Sales Marketing Intern to join our team for the 2025 PLL Season. This role will play a vital part in supporting our ticket sales marketing efforts, helping to execute successful campaigns that engage fans, elevate the onsite experience and drive ticket sales. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, determined and passionate about sports marketing.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Sports Management, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
- Familiarity with social media platforms, digital marketing strategies, and data analytics tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Passion for sports and an interest in event marketing and ticket sales.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Management:
- Track and analyze performance metrics across all ticket sales related email campaigns, paid media, social media platforms, and mobile app initiatives.
- Organize and maintain data dashboards, providing regular updates and actionable insights to the ticket sales marketing team.
2. Grassroots Marketing:
- Act as the primary liaison with local venues and media partners to coordinate and execute marketing initiatives.
- Develop visually compelling graphics and materials for grassroots campaigns to promote ticket sales across PLL markets.
- Manage and Track campaign success.
3. Market Audience Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth research on target audiences across key markets to identify trends, preferences, and opportunities.
- Provide actionable insights to inform ticket marketing strategies and improve campaign targeting.
5. Ticket Marketing Campaign Support:
- Brainstorm and contribute innovative ideas for ticket marketing campaigns that resonate with different audience segments, driving ticket revenue.
- Write engaging and persuasive copy for a variety of ticket sales marketing materials, including email, social media, and app campaigns.
- Proofread and edit marketing content to ensure alignment with brand tone and messaging.
- Assist in implementing and coordinating marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
- Coordinate with creative and production teams to ensure timely delivery of campaign assets.
- Monitor campaign progress and provide updates to stakeholders.
- Research and analyze competitors' marketing strategies and ticketing initiatives to identify best practices and opportunities for differentiation.
- Manage schedules and timelines for ticket marketing campaigns to ensure all deadlines are met.
Compensation:
- This internship is for college credit only and is unpaid. Students must coordinate with their institution to ensure eligibility for credit.
