Position Overview

We’re seeking a seasoned Senior iOS Engineer to continue the development of our league app. This role is critical in enhancing our current Swift-based application and spearheading the transition to SwiftUI. You’ll work cross-functionally with product, design, and backend teams to build a seamless, high-performance app that delights fans and drives engagement. You own features such as Fantasy, Chat, integration of PLL AI, and the PLL Nation loyalty system.

Key Responsibilities

• Core Development: Architect, design, and implement new features using Swift and SwiftUI for a modernized UI/UX experience.
• Feature Expansion: Develop and maintain modules for content, real-time stats, fantasy sports features, gamification systems, and content.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product and design teams to refine user flows, ensuring the app meets both business goals and user needs.
• Integrations: Work closely with PLL software partners to add and maintain SDK integrations.
• Quality & Performance: Write clean, scalable code; ensure robust testing practices; and continuously optimize app performance for a seamless user experience.
• Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices, contributing fresh ideas to push our app—and our league—to the next level.
  
  

Qualifications

• 4 years of iOS development experience, with a deep understanding of Swift.
• Proven experience in building and shipping high-quality mobile applications.
• Strong proficiency in UIKit with a solid understanding of SwiftUI principles.
• Experience with integrating APIs and working with real-time data.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in sports, entertainment, or fan engagement technology.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and continuous integration/deployment practices.
• Experience with gamification techniques and iOS features like Live Activities
• Passion for sports and understanding of the fan experience.
• Experience with AI development tools like Cursor or WindSurf
  
  

Compensation

• $125K - $140K
• Based on the candidate’s experience, seniority, and location
• The total compensation package includes Annual Bonus, Health, Life, Dental, and Vision Insurance, 401(k) plan, Equity Sharing, Mental Health Stipend, Unlimited PTO, and Paid Parental Leave
