Job Overview: We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals with a passion for the outdoors to join our team as a Lake Weed Removal Scuba Diver on Lake Minnetonka. The successful candidate will be trained in using scuba diving equipment to remove aquatic weeds and debris from Lake Minnetonka. Perfect for High school and college students. If in sports, we will work around your schedule. We want athletes at the highest level.
Positions Available for Advancement:
- Scuba Crew Member
- Scuba Crew Team Manager
- Lake Harvester Captain
- Trailer/Disposal Driver
- Quality Assurance Inspector / Estimator
Season Length: (Join when available, Leave when unavailable)
- May 2024 - September 2024
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform underwater tasks to remove aquatic weeds using a variety of manual and mechanical tools.
- Monitor and maintain the safety of divers and other personnel while on the job.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure that all tasks are completed on time and to the highest standards.
Requirements:
- Strong swimming skills and ability to lift heavy objects.
- Comfortable working in a team environment and following instructions closely.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work in different environments and under varying weather conditions.
- Passion for the outdoors and willingness to work long hours, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to adhere to safety regulations and work in a high-traffic area.
This is a seasonal position that requires the flexibility to work long hours, weekends, and holidays. The Lake Weed Removal Scuba Diver will report directly to the project manager and work closely with other team members to ensure the success of each project. As Lake Minnetonka is a large and busy lake, the candidate must be comfortable working in a high-traffic area and adhering to safety regulations. Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
