Job description
Looking for a licensed spray technician to perform timely lawn and landscape applications using hand and powered equipment to apply fertilizer, insecticides, fungicides, and herbicides.
Position Requirements:
Honesty, Hard-working, Self-motivated, can work with other employees as a team, Valid Drivers license, two years of experience, WSDA applicators license, Provide Quality Costumer service, Time management, Communication skills, Attention to detail is a must. And must be able to work with other employees as a team or alone.
Must be able to:
- Fill out Work Orders properly and legibly
- Apply fertilizer by using either hand or powered equipment
- Spot spray herbicide in ornamental shrub beds without harming the grass or shrubs
- Know what products to use for proper application
- Know how to read labels properly
- Know how to mix the tanks with the proper chemicals
- Document services by filling out our WSDA approved service papers
- Maintain equipment and tools
- Operate hand and power equipment within state and federal guidelines
- Problem solve
- Follow instructions and all safety guidelines
- To do any other assignments that is asked of you
This position demands physical aspects such as walking long distances, walking long distance with a backpack sprayer, kneeling, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying supplies 50lbs. or more in all weather conditions
