Quality Compliance Specialist

The Quality Compliance Specialist will be responsible for ensuring compliance with ISO9001 and/or AS9100 standards, conducting audits, and implementing root cause corrective actions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and a keen eye for detail.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with ISO9001 and/or AS9100 standards as well as ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Support training programs for new hires and ongoing training for existing staff to ensure all team members are proficient in their roles and understand company procedures.
  • Document and report non-conformance issues and assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions internally and for Premier customers.
  • Performing independent audits of processes, products and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain and update quality documentation, including procedures, work instructions, and audit reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in the preparation for external audits and certifications.
  • Follow all relevant safety, quality and environmental control procedures and instructions.
  • Work in partnership with production teams to identify and troubleshoot quality issues before and during production processes.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures, tests, and sampling plans to ensure consistency and reliability of production processes and products.
  • Analyzing and interpreting data from product tests, internal report and inspections to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
  • Investigating customer complaints, product defects, and non-conformances to determine the root cause and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
  • Supporting Management duties as needed.


Skills and Specifications Required:

  • Preferred 3-5 years of quality technician experience working in warehouse operations environment
  • Solid knowledge of quality control principles, practices, and standards
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with different stakeholders
  • Competence in using quality control and statistical analysis tools such as Lean and Statistical Process Control (SPC)
  • Deep understanding of QC Processes, including Sample Rates and Final Inspections
  • Preferred Certification in Quality Auditing (CQA) or similar
  • Ability to clearly communicate in English verbally and in writing
  • Ability to review and understand customer specifications
  • Familiar with most consumer electronic devices (laptops, tablets, cell phones, etc.)
  • Reasonable operational knowledge of MS Office products. (Excel, Teams, Outlook)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to pass customer background checks as required by our customers


Physical Requirements, with or without accommodation:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
  • Ability to continuously bend and reach
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
  • Ability to view small details on product
  • Ability to hear and identify audio irregularities of devices
