POSITION SUMMARY:
The Shift Data Entry Specialist Level 1 is responsible for entering and maintaining production data across various systems of the organization in compliance with FDA Regulations. This position requires a high level of organizational skills and experience working with a variety of databases along with attention to detail and knowledge depth concerning data management. This position will work closely with the Production Supervisor.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Daily efficiency updates and maintenance of assigned data
- Daily reporting of production data in compliance with FDA Regulations
- Monitoring and tracking of statistical data assigned
- Addressing data inconsistencies by working with appropriate staff leading to resolution
- Attend to data queries and reporting any major data errors to management
- Review data entry discrepancies and correct in a timely manner
- Report generation for daily or ad hoc reports as needed
- Support and assist in reconciliation of data collection
- Perform audits of data as required
- Support the ERP system as needed
- Assist supervisors with daily printing of documents as needed
- Assist and support 5S (Sort, Sustain, Standardize, Straighten, Shine) activities
- Solid time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to constantly learn and adapt to new technologies
- Effective communication skills, presentation skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent typing skills and experience working with Windows and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work both independently and in a dynamic, cross-functional team structure
- Any additional job functions deemed necessary for the improvement and efficiency of the company
Qualifications
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year of experience in data entry
- Intermediate experience with ERP systems
