What are the responsibilities and job description for the Deburring/Grinnding/Finish Prep position at Premier Manufacturing?
Entry level Deburring/Grinding/Finish prep
Typical Duties: (includes, but not limited to)
· De-burr and sand sheet metal by using sanding and deburring equipment, clean edges of parts caused by metal cutting and welding
· Break parts from master sheet.
· Keeping up with the schedule and notifying area lead if cannot meet the schedule
· Doing jobs in the scheduled priority
· Maintenance Machines and tools as needed
· Maintain clean area
· Request supplies from area Lead when needed
· Learn the customer’s quality requirements
· Responsible for your own quality of parts leaving the deburr area
Skills and Attributes:
· Read Blueprints notes on the drawing as well as the processing sheet.
· Good attention to detail
· Able to communicate needs
· Efficient with supplies
· Collaborative team player
· Hard working and dedicated; willing to work through to completion
· Able to lift 30-50 pounds regularly
· Good attendance and punctual
· Able to cope with a busy work schedule
· Able to work overtime including Saturday when needed.'
