POWDER COATING MANAGER

Leadership and Team Management:

• Supervise and lead the powder coating team, including coaters, prep staff, and material handlers.
• Plan and assign daily tasks to ensure production goals are met.
• Provide training and development to enhance team skills and safety compliance.

Production Oversight:

• Manage all powder coating operations, including surface preparation, coating application, curing, and quality inspections.
• Ensure compliance with production schedules while minimizing downtime and waste.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate workflow and prioritize tasks.

Quality Assurance:

• Maintain high standards for product quality, ensuring finishes meet or exceed customer expectations and industry standards.
• Implement and oversee inspection protocols to identify and correct defects promptly.

Equipment and Process Management:

• Oversee the maintenance, repair, and calibration of powder coating equipment, including spray guns, booths, and curing ovens.
• Continuously evaluate and improve coating processes for efficiency, consistency, and sustainability.

Safety and Compliance:

• Enforce adherence to workplace safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and audits to maintain a secure working environment.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in powder coating operations within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of powder coating techniques, equipment, and materials.
• Familiarity with quality standards and safety regulations related to coating processes.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 80 per week
