What are the responsibilities and job description for the Press Brake Operator position at PREMIER MANUFACTURING?
Typical Duties: (includes, but not limited to)
· Must understand precision sheet metal requirements.
· Keeping up with the schedule and notifying supervisor if can not meet the schedule
· Shearing backup strips when needed to accomplish above tasks
· Light computer skills required
· Set-up and operate a Precision Sheet Metal Press Brakes (Amada)
· Operator machine maintenance
· Maintain Brake tooling
· Request replacement tooling from supervisor when needed
· Responsible for the quality of parts leaving your machine
Skills and Attributes:
· Proficient at reading mechanical blueprints
· Able to use proper measurement tools to maintain quality
· High attention to detail
· Excellent organization skills
· Good communicator
· Efficient with supplies and time
· Collaborative team player
· Hard working and dedicated; willing to work through to completion
· Able to lift fifty pounds regularly
· Good attendance and punctual
· Able to cope with busy work schedules while distinguishing and balancing priorities
· Able to work overtime including Saturdays when needed.
· Must be able to run and Amada Precision Press Brakes
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
