Position Overview:
A lead instructor at Premier Martial Arts is a person who has passion for changing lives through day to day martial arts instruction. An outgoing and servant leader personality is a must! This team member will not only teach, but will inspire others to do their best. The ideal candidate will work with other team members to develop and provide a “best in class” experience for PMA students, families, and staff. Our goal is to be the #1 Martial Arts Studio in the area and there are opportunities to GROW in this role.

As a PMA Lead Instructor you will help kids build:
- Confidence, Self-Discipline, Respect, Focus and concentration, Perseverance, Goal Setting, Leadership Skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead high energy, benefit driven, “edu-taining” instruction for children and adults
- Serve as a role model and character educator
- Build and maintain positive relationships with families
- Recruit and retain new students/members
- Oversee student ranking, tracking/reporting, belt tests, and graduations
- Conduct group and private intros
- Assist in management of school (class schedules, sanitation, supplies, inventory)
- Represent PMA at recruitment, marketing and community events
- Complete comprehensive on-going training in PMA skills and instruction
Required Experience, Skills and Mindsets:
- Martial Arts experience; Black Belt Preferred but not required
- Teaching Experience: Experience training, coaching or working w/ children
- Personality: Must be a SELF-STARTER and go-getter, Team-player, passionate about helping and motivating others
- Professionalism: Excited to learn and uphold brand standards, customer-first mentality
- Sales Experience: Ability to convey the value of martial arts
- Tenacity: Must be a problem-solver that is solutions-minded
- Communication: Must be a skilled presenter and public speaker, must be able to write clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings
- Organization: Must be well-organized and able to manage time
- Growth Mindset: Must be willing to receive and implement constructive feedback, ALWAYS WILLING TO LEARN AND GROW
- Education: HS Diploma or GED required
- Background check required
Salary : $18 - $20
