Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Billing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining data in our databases. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent typing skills, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Perform data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
- Collect and transcribe data from various sources into designated databases.
- Manage order entry processes and ensure timely updates to records.
- Utilize pivot tables and other office software tools to analyze and organize data effectively.
- Maintain organized files and documentation for easy retrieval and reference.
- Assist in data collection efforts as needed to support various projects.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure data integrity and resolve discrepancies.
- Medical Records Release
- Daily Reconciliation of payments
- Weekly Deposits
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Proven experience in billing data entry or a related office role is preferred.
- Proficiency in using databases, spreadsheets, and office software applications.
- Strong typing skills with a focus on accuracy and speed.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with pivot tables is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data integrity.
- Knowledge of Availity, Payer Portals
- Experience with Open Practice software
