Join our dynamic, integrative family medicine clinic in Phoenix. This full-time role emphasizes direct patient physical rehabilitation support while also providing front desk administrative assistance.
Rehabilitation assistants participate in patient treatment by demonstrating exercises and helping the patient perform them. They also ensure any equipment used is set up for that particular patient and adjust it if needed. In addition, they help transport patients to other treatment areas as required.

Responsibilities:
Administrative/Front Desk Duties:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
- Schedule appointments and coordinate with medical staff regarding patient needs.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including inpatient and outpatient care plans.
- Assist with discharge planning by providing necessary information to patients and families.
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to appropriate personnel.
- Ensure the front desk area is organized and presentable at all times.
- Utilize knowledge of medical terminology to assist with patient interactions effectively.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care.
Rehabilitation Duties (Primary Focus):
- Perform range of motion testing and active rehabilitation exercises
- Demonstrate and supervise patient exercise programs as ordered by Nurse Practitioner and physicians
- Set-up, adjust, and maintain rehabilitation equipment
- Assist in patient transport between waiting and treatment areas
Required qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Professional license/certification in Arizona for physical rehabilitation work (PTA, COTA)
- Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office suite
- At least 1 year experience in a medical office (preferred)
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems (preferred)
