Duties

- Provide treatment for acute and chronic illnesses, including prescribing medications as necessary.
- Administer procedures such as catheterization, spinal taps, and phlebotomy when required.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and families on health management, preventive care, and lifestyle modifications.
- Maintain accurate medical records in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
- Stay current with advancements in medical knowledge, particularly in areas such as behavioral health and psychopharmacology.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
- Valid state nursing license with prescriptive authority.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and case management principles.
- Experience or training in sterile processing is preferred.
- Familiarity with memory care practices is a plus.
- Ability to perform catheterization and phlebotomy procedures effectively.
- Understanding of behavioral health issues and psychopharmacology principles is desirable.
