POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for identifying, managing, and communicating global credit risks represented in the company’s loan portfolio. Applies knowledge of credit risks to optimize credit product performance to help fuel growth and protect the bank from losses. Identifies, analyzes, develops, and assists in the implementation of process improvement solutions to enable better member and employee experiences. Day to day work will include cash flow analysis, spreading business financials and tax returns, spreading guarantor financials and tax returns, and other commercial underwriting functions. The incumbent will help ensure adherence to all Federal and State laws and regulations applicable to the Credit Union, including the Bank Secrecy Act.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Analyze and resolve moderately complex issues or escalate as needed
- Responsible for monthly data uploads and reconciliations
- Assist in risk mitigation efforts and decisioning
- Assist in creating credit risk presentations
- Assist in high-level evaluations of risk models
- Development of procedures and procedural attestations
- Quantitative and problem-solving mindset
- Completes other duties and additional Adhoc requests as necessary
- Flexible schedule allowing for office and remote work environment
- Ensures that work area is clean, secure, and well maintained.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent combination of experience and education required.
- General understanding of Credit Union loan processes
- Knowledge of related computer applications
- 3-5 years in Credit, Financial Analysis, Statistical Modeling/ Forecasting, Banking or other directly related experience
- Proficient in MS Office, Excel
- Strong Analytical Skills
- Excellent Attention to Detail
- Excellent Organizational Skills
- Ability to Work in Team Environment
- Standard office conditions
- Low to moderate noise
- Limited lifting up to 30 lbs.
