Qualifications:
- CDL with Passenger Endorsement (Required)
- A Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required
- Have a minimum of at least two-year commercial driving experience and one year of transportation management experience
- Must have clean MVR and DOT (Required)
- Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug test according to DOT
- Must have good customer service and clean appearance

Responsibilities include: (Under the direction of the Director of Operations)
- Responsibilities include working under limited supervision.
- Arrange for substitutes and stand-by drivers or may drive a bus to cover absences for the purpose of providing adequate coverage to meet the transportation needs.
- Assess and report incidents, complaints and/or accidents for the purpose of resolving or recommending a resolution to the situation.
- Conducts regular inspections for the purpose of ensuring work quality, performance and production, and assuring that staff performance meets established standards and expectations.
- Coordinates with the Fleet Manager for the purpose of implementing and maintaining services and/or programs.
- Ensure drivers conduct daily pre-trip and post trip assessments and ensure bus cleanliness.
- Ensure drivers provide excellent customer service and ensure guests arrival to and from destinations safely.
- Responds to emergencies during the shift for the purpose of addressing immediate safety concerns.
- Responds to inquiries from a variety of internal and external parties (e.g. staff, onsite personnel, etc.) for the purpose of providing information, facilitating communication among parties and/or providing directions.
- Schedules repairs on buses for the purpose of ensuring that the vehicle is in a safe operating condition.
- Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.

SKILLS and KNOWLEDGE are required to perform multiple technical tasks with a need to occasionally upgrade skills in order to meet changing job conditions. Specific skill-based competencies required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include: effective listening; facilitating meetings; managing staff/performance. Problem solving is required to analyze issues and create action plans.
Specific knowledge-based competencies required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include: codes/laws/rules/regulations/policies; safety practices; safe bus driving practices.
