Summary: The Registered Dental Assistant/Orthodontic Assistant supports orthodontic care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the Dental Practice Act.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Assists the doctor in procedures with ortho treatment
- Operated x-ray equipment and takes x-rays
- Prophy teeth
- Instructs patients on oral hygiene
- Chart and treatment plan with doctor
- Sterilizes instruments
- Setup and prepares rooms for hygiene and treatment
- Take IO's
- Charting
Education and/or Experience:
- Certification from a dental college OR 3 months related experience and/or training OR Equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred
- BIlingual in Spanish, preferred
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- California Registered Dental Assistant or Orthodontic Assistant License
- X-Ray Certification
- Coronal Polish Certification required
- Current BLS certification
Salary : $30 - $40
