Entry - Level Automated Equipment Mechanic
Shift: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Job Summary:
In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of automated machinery and equipment. This position offers a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment while contributing to the efficiency and productivity of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of automated equipment and machinery.
- Perform routine inspections to identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
- Support senior mechanics in diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed.
- Help ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols.
- Participate in training sessions to develop skills and knowledge of automated systems.
- Collaborate with team members to improve equipment performance and reliability.
- Other tasks as needed can include machine operation.
Requirements:
- Comfortable working in various environments, including indoor and outdoor settings.
- Ability to be on your feet for the duration of an 8 hour shift.
- Ability to lift up to 25lbs frequently and up to 50lbs occasionally.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform basic math skills and problem-solving.
- Ability to work overtime when needed.
- Frequent bending and stooping.
- Follows all safety procedures when operating all manufacturing equipment or when handling chemicals.
- Able to work well in team environments.
- Attentive, teachable, and dependable.
- Must be able to prioritize tasks and accept new responsibilities.
- Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
