Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting our medical staff and ensuring that patients receive the highest quality of care. This position requires a thorough understanding of medical procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient well-being.
Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures by preparing patients.
- Record patient histories, vital signs, and other relevant information accurately.
- Administer immunizations in compliance with protocols.
- Administer medications as directed by physicians and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Conduct routine tests and screenings, including those related to pediatrics.
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, adhering to infection control standards.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
- Experience or familiarity with pediatrics is preferred.
- Bilingual is preferred but not required
- Proficient in taking vital signs and understanding medication administration protocols.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory.
