Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Office Manager to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting our medical staff and ensuring that patients receive the highest quality of care. This position requires a thorough understanding of medical procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient well-being.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate accountability of Vaccines (Private & VFC)
- Implement Policies and Procedures
- Review of OSHA and HIPAA Training
- Maintain staff licenses
- Log Tags
- Close Vaccine Charts
- Manage Referrals & Prior Authorizations
- Support on Front Desk activities including insurance verification, collect copays, maintain faxes, confirming appointments
- Support Nursing staff with CLIA test logs, PKU, completion of school forms and HC logs
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Manage phone systems, answer incoming calls, and direct calls to the appropriate parties.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
- Experience or familiarity with pediatrics is preferred.
- Utilize computer literacy skills to operate office software, including Microsoft Office and other productivity tools.
- Demonstrate strong time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Bilingual is preferred but not required
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
