ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
· Appointment scheduling and pre-visit planning
· Processing and posting patient payments
· Responding to requests for medical records
· Making and responding to patient emails, phone calls & messages
· Processing faxes and other paperwork.
· Ensuring that the reception area is well-kept and orderly
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
· Available 8:30 am - 5:00 pm weekdays with half day off each week (full-time) OR part-time 2-3 days per week
· Family Practice or Pediatric medical reception experience preferred
· Electronic Health Records (EHR) experience preferred
· Billing experience is desired, but not required
· Excellent communication skills with a positive, friendly, and highly professional attitude
· Ability to work well with a team
· Ability to multi-task
· High School diploma / GED required, 2- or 4-year degree preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 36 per week
