Warehouse Associate Level 1
Location: Export, PA
Wage: $18.00 - $21.00 DOE
Hours: Full Time / Non-Exempt

Job Summary:
The role of the Warehouse Associate involves picking and occasional shipping of all customer orders from the warehouse, receiving product in and putting away on shelves to keep stock replenished and up to date, as well as maintain the safety and neatness of the warehouse for the safety of all team members. Warehouse Associates are ultimately in charge of inventory at a business, warehouse, or office. They keep track of shipment and receiving schedules for both incoming and outgoing shipments. They track inventory counts and check the items in inventory for damages or discrepancies.
Where you’ll spend your time:
- Properly accounting for the location of incoming goods and organization and safety of warehouse
- Assuring no damaged items are sent or received and documentation of damaged items.
- Comparing packing lists to company purchase orders and ensuring that the products in each delivery match the packing list and documenting and reporting mismatches.
- Collaborate with marketing to develop a schedule for assembling and displaying manufacturer marketing pieces on the sales floor.
- Receive product or unload from truck, label if applicable, sign and complete paperwork, inspect for damages, & put away on shelves to keep stock replenished & updated.
- Filling out of any product paperwork for returns and contact supplier or shipper if a mistake is identified.
- Identify, count, & sort packages/inventory with a high level of urgency
- Collaborate with procurement staff to list expected deliveries.
- Verify packages according to order and invoices (quantity, quality, price etc.) and update the product inventory as products are received and added to the inventory.
- Ensure invoices are signed and paid for satisfactory deliveries.
- Other duties as assigned.
You must have/possess:
- Previous experience in a similar receiving and inventory position
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend, and push items on a regular basis.
- Strong work ethic and a willingness to go above and beyond.
- Good attendance record

Your work environment:
- Requires working indoors in environmentally controlled conditions.
- Requires using hands to handle, control, or feel objects; exposure to hazardous equipment, exposure to sounds and noise levels that are distracting and uncomfortable
- Requires using ladders, forklifts, and ability to regularly lift to 50 pounds, and team lift 75-120 pounds.
- Requires work with others in a group or team with responsibility for work outcomes and results
