Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mobile phones and tablets, including screen, battery, charging port, and other hardware replacements
- Troubleshoot software issues, perform system resets, and update firmware as needed
- Use hand tools and soldering equipment to complete precise electronic repairs
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and explaining repair processes
- Sell repairs, services, and accessories while providing expert recommendations to customers
- Maintain an organized and efficient workspace while following safety protocols
- Keep up with industry trends, new device models, and advanced repair techniques
- Track and manage repair parts and inventory
- Work collaboratively with team members to improve service efficiency
Requirements
- Proven experience as a cell phone repair technician
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing iOS and Android devices
- Knowledge of soldering techniques and micro-soldering is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to use repair tools and testing equipment effectively
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Retail sales experience is a plus
