Job Description
\As an Advanced Practice Provider in our Emergency Medicine department, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care. Your expertise will be invaluable in assessing and treating patients with acute illnesses, injuries, and medical emergencies. You will develop treatment plans, prescribe medications, and perform procedures within your scope of practice.
\You will maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, adhering to hospital policies and state regulations governing advanced practice roles. Your strong clinical decision-making and critical thinking skills will enable you to navigate complex situations effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- A Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program \
- Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP), or Physician Assistant (PA-C) \
- An active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the state of Florida \
- A DEA license and the ability to prescribe medications \
- At least one to two years of experience in emergency medicine \
- Proficiency in emergency procedures such as suturing, incision and drainage, and splinting \
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS \
- Preferred: ATLS certification \
- Strong clinical decision-making and critical thinking skills \
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations and adapt to a fast-paced environment \
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for patient and team interactions \
